Herimoweta African Art centre situated on 7, Adebayo Mokuolu Street opposite
Hotel Newcastle Anthony Lagos. Stepping into the gallery you are introduced to
‘art’ as a feast of the mind and soul in an ambience in which art lovers and
visitors alike can gather and celebrate various works of art.
Since the
establishment of Henrymoweta African Art centre some 20 years ago by Henry
Moweta, the gallery has continue to strive in showcasing the best of art works
while breathing life into art in its own unique way; offering services such as
indoor and outdoor decorations using paintings, sculptures using wood, metal
ceramics terracotta’s etc. Aside this, the gallery also hold art sessions,
exhibitions and training.
The gallery in its bid in continuing to offer art lovers the
best and also position itself as a one stop shop for everything art has on
display beautiful and captivating art works of some of the finest art masters
around such as; Ben Osawe, Ben Enwonwu, Poruce Onobrakpaya, Rufus Ogundele,
Tayo Quaye, Olotu Oyerinde, Henri Moweta, Dudu amongst others.
The gallery opens 8am – 7pm on Mondays to Fridays and 9am –
7pm on Saturdays.
