The La Casera Company has shut down operations at its Mile 2 site on Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.
Workers arrived work this morning only to be told they have been sacked. Although the company said it did that because it could no longer guaranty the safety of workers after its premises was invaded Weekend, by over 200 demonstrators led by representatives of the National Union of Food, Beverages.

This is serious.. Another company that employs labour is down again... Well, I heard the company denies it's workers their entitlement and also abuse their right. Lacacera should be looked into by the necessary parastatal.
